New Yorker digitalisiert

Das gesamte Archiv des New Yorker ist jetzt vollständig digitalisiert (kostenpflichtig, via stephenslighthouse.com):

“When The New Yorker turned a hundred, we got ourselves a heck of a birthday present: our entire archive digitized and available online. We resurrected more than a hundred thousand articles that were once stored only in physical magazines and clunky PDFs, making them readable on the web. These include works by such legends as Vladimir Nabokov, Joan Didion, and Truman Capote.

The digitization project was led by Nicholas Henriquez, our director of editorial infrastructure (which means he helps us use the computers good). I called up Nick to discuss this enormous undertaking, and to get his recommendations for what to read first.”
