The newly updated DDC also incorporates more diverse perspectives and voices. This includes efforts led by our first Editor-in-Residence to update terms to better reflect the experiences and perspectives of underrepresented groups, as well as the addition of new topics related to diverse cultures and communities. By incorporating a wider range of perspectives, the DDC is better equipped to serve the needs of diverse users and communities.»
