Während der Zeit des kalten Krieges wurden in der Sovietunion Bootlegs aus alten Röntgenbildern erstellt (via kottke.org):
“During the Cold War, the Soviet Union controlled the music recording industry and even restricted the types of music that were allowed to be played & listened to. Or they tried to anyway. Enterprising Soviet bootleggers took used x-ray films, many of them still containing images of bones and skulls, and recorded forbidden music on them, including jazz and rock & roll from the West. They called it ribs, bones, bone music, or jazz on ribs.”
